I stayed in a fully self contained cabin. There was an adjacent private toilet and bathroom. Although separate to the actual cabin, it was for my own private use. The cabin had a double bed and two bunks. There was a very functional kitchen with a table. There was no wifi in the cabin but it could be accessed in the recreation room which had a large TV and a supply of books, CDs etc. Located close to shops. One thing of concern was the regular low flying aircraft coming in for a landing at Coolangatta. In saying that, I got used to it quite quickly. Well priced at $110 per night. I loved the lemon scented towels!

We stayed in a deluxe family cabin. Could not fault it. Almost brand new. Had everything we needed. Very comfortable. The grounds are well kept and the park is very quiet. The park seems to be mainly permanent residents, with a smattering of options for the travelling public. The locals were nice and welcoming. It was an educational experience... We learnt that Coolangatta airport has a curfew between 11pm and 6am. So no need for an alarm clock. I'm now on a first name basis with all of the pilots. The planes are that low, you can read their name badges 😂

We stayed last weekend for my brothers wedding, had everything we needed, clean, quiet, beautiful staff (especially the one at the front desk!). Close to Tweed town centre. Oh, and we also LOVED the planes flying over us, the kids thought they were the best!

We weren’t informed of being directly under the flight path of the Gold Coast Airport! Planes 12hrs a day flying very low as they’re landing & taking off. Sometimes every 10 minutes! If you need a quiet break/holiday, don’t stay here!!

Unfortunately, my sister's recent stay at Pyramid was very negative. A faulty door led to her breaking her finger. While she informed management, they didn't apologise for the incident, investigate the door issue, or offer any assistance (other than calling an ambulance) despite the severity of the injury. We hope they will take steps to address the damaged door and improve guest safety protocols to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Nice, lots of friendly oldies living here. Clean amenities. Close to the airport-awesome if you love watching planes, which we do! Very friendly staff. Very unfriendly kids that live here, picking on kids smaller than them. Avoid if you want to keep your kids safe.

No compassion for guests affected by unexpected Covid, no credit or refund offered, Louise told us we are welcome- with covid to spread it! Cancellation policy is not legal. We could have cancelled & you could have fit new people in easily over the Christmas week. No ethical operation of a family holiday park.
